Surface based Modelling – Free form curves and surfaces, Bezier, B-Splines and NURBS, Operations, Analysis and Connectivity in Curves and Surfaces. Additive Manufacturing, from Rapid Prototyping to Additive Manufacturing, technologies, applications and design for Additive Manufacturing. Computer Aided Manufacturing – CAM, CNC tool program preparation using CAM systems, applications in lathes and 3-axis milling.
Laboratory: Siemens NX Shape Studio and ΝΧ- manufacturing turning, milling, post builder.
